Using this website

We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. You should be able to:

• skip straight to the main content: it is the first link on every page;
• use the menus, buttons and links with a keyboard, with a visible outline showing where you are, and close an open menu with Escape;
• read every page and open the menu with JavaScript turned off;
• pause the animation of the CBIT cycle wheel, which starts paused if your device is set to reduce motion;
• use the website on a phone without scrolling sideways;
• find a text alternative for every image that carries information.

How accessible this website is

The website is built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2, level AA. It has not yet had an independent accessibility audit, and it has not yet been tested with screen readers, so there may be problems we have not found.

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 level AA, because it has not yet been fully tested. We will update this statement with the results of the audit, and fix what it finds.

Content that is not covered

Some links lead to other websites, such as Nottingham Trent University’s and social media. Their accessibility is outside this website’s control.
